First Lady Barbara Isaac


First Lady Barbara Isaac was born in Moscow, Tennessee to the late Deacon John and Mrs. Pealine Goodwin. She grew up under the Pastoral guidance of Rev. Houston at the New Bethel Baptist Church, where she confessed Christ and was baptized at age 12. She remained a member of New Bethel until she joined Gethsemane Baptist Church, Mitchellville, MD.

First Lady Isaac Graduated from Tennessee State University in 1982, with a B.A. Business Administration; Morgan State University in 1983 with a B.S. Computer Science and also has hours toward M.S. Information Systems at University of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD.

Barbara Isaac is a devoted wife to Pastor Spencer F. Isaac and mother of 2 daughters (Alexis and Stephanie). She supports New Mount Zoar in faith and deeds and does not limit her involvement to ministry activities but as an extension of her family. She loves to give selflessly to the ministry and their members. With hopes of teaching others the true value of service, she performs any duty required of her with joy in her heart.

In 2012 Barbara Isaac accepted the call into the Gospel Ministry. Minister Barbara Isaac was licensed December 15th, 2012. Minister Isaac is currently studying to receive her Master’s in Christian Education from Virginia Baptist College in May 2015.
